Hey, my name's Patrick, and I'm from Toronto. Loved fishing ever since hooking my first pumpkin fish with a hook and a line, no rod. Since than, I've always wanted to catch something bigger, but it's always the bass that get hooked on my line for one reason or another, small or large mouthed, just tired of them, but it's still the sport that's great. Here's to hoping this will give me some valuable insight into catching something bigger, better, a pike? I sure hope so.

Hi Patrick, welcome aboard!

I would love it if I was always having bass bite my line!

I hope we can help you get into a pike this year. Stick around and talk to some of the members here, they know a thing or 2 that may help you out.

PM me your mailing address so I can get your gift out to you!

Cheers!

Hello hello,

Bookoo here, been fishing for a long time, just for fun, but it does get serious once in awhile, I am in north pickering, but have a cottage north of kingston, and I fish anywhere and everywhere I can. I look forward to sharing pics and stories.

Hi, Im Joe, from Toronto. I was searching info on renewing my fishing licence and found the OFF website. I have only been fishing one season and can't wait to get out on lake this Spring. My girlfriend just bought me a nice St. Croix rod and Team Daiwa reel for my birthday , So im all set except for some good lures which i still have not had time to go out to buy. I have been going up to a relatives cottage in the Kawarthas on LAKE CHANDOS ( Apsley Ontario, near Bancroft ) but i have not caught anything memorable there yet, ( lack of experience i guess ...ha ! ) although there is a pretty huge fish swimming around that lake with a Mepps #3 Black Fury stuck in it's throat
Has anyone fished Lake Chandos ? Do you know what type of fish are in that lake and what kinds of lures should i be going out to buy ?

Thanks

Joe

My name is Ivan. I live in Oakville. I don't have much fishing experience, but my dad brought me to a number of fishing trips when I was young. Now I am starting to go fishing again with some new friends and hope to learn some cool techniques from here!

Hey guys!

My name is Danny. My buddy has been bugging me to start fishing so I've decided this year will be the year I really get into it! I'm actually pretty excited to get my liscence and head out early sunday mornings with some buddies. I'm in Ottawa, Ontario so hopefully they'll be something decent to catch!

I've never caught a pike before, so that might be something fun. I know that Ontario has a lot of good lakes with pike in it. Any favorites you could recommend?

Hi All,

My name is John and I'm from Brampton. I'm into pretty much every sport from curling to football but fishing is definitely my favorite hobby. I enjoy fishing the streams and creeks for trout but can;t wait for our yearly trip up to North bay for Pike. Nothing beats the taste of fried Pike right out of the lake.

Looking forward to learning of some good fishng spots and the newest lures.

Cheers,
John

Hi my name is Dave, and I have gone fishing for once or twice and I was beginning to like it even more so I am committed to going more often this fishing season. I love also playing other sports and riding motorcycles. There isn't much I can say other than I enjoy hunting the most maybe because I am a guy and that's what guys do. Anyways, hope to hear the feedback and reports you guys have to share thank you for reading my post.

Hello OFFers, my name is Piotr and I am from Streetsville, Ontario

I am a high school student and I go fishing in the Credit River that runs through Mississauga.
I have only caught small fish and I am hoping I will find some tips on where the big boys are!

Peace!
