My name is Tyson, I live in Hamilton, I've been fishing ever since I was little. Slowly over the years it became a growing hobby which I try to do as much of as possible. I usually fish for crappies, perch, bass and walleyes. I want to get into fishing for pike but have yet to catch one. Hopefully I can do that this summer. I'm glad to be apart of this site and look forward to further fishing discussions with everyone.

I’ve set myself up with a 4/5 weight fly gear, and look forward to playing with that for the first time since a teenager. I never meet a fish I wouldn’t try to catch so I’m up for any species. I’m spin equipped too. But I’m still a shore fisher, and probably for a long time to come. Or at least until an inflatable pontoon can be packed on a bike.
I’ll get that first report in soon…I hope
Stay dry, Bill

I just started fishing 2 years ago, I'm still pretty new at this, only caught sunfishes but want to start catching larger fishes. Hopefully i can get a lot of useful tips and tricks to help me improve on my fishing this forum. Thanks

This is Alexander, and I have been fishing in Southern Ontario for a couple decades now. I do quit a bit a ice fishing, and some boat fishing in the summer time. For the rest of the tiems I usually fish from shore whenever I get the opportunity. Frankly speaking, the GTA and closer inland lakes around us have been over fished, and it is rather difficult to show children the skills and fun within an hour drive these days. It is almost time for the stream trout, and since I live fairly close to Duffins, Bowmanville, Wilmot Creeks I will be wetting my line soon in one of these streams. Hopefully I can be of some contribution to this Forum in the future. Tight lines!
