My name is William, I have been fishing since I was a little kid and that is a long time ago now, just turned the big 40 a few months ago.
I mostly shore fish around the Ottawa area for bass, walleye, pike, occassional muskie (when I've got lucky), etc....

My name is David and I am a fisherman....I'm 36 years old and live in Brampton Ont. I've been fishing since I can remember, it's my favorite hobby....I've fished as far north as the French River and as far south as the Niagara River, my favorite spots though are in Algonguin Park, it's an incredible place to go if you have the chance, landed a nice 18lb Northern there....A friend and I are also getting pretty familiar with Lake Simcoe, it's not uncommon for us to land 20 Smallies over 5lbs in a day's fishing....right now I've been doing a lot of leg work walking the Credit River, haven't had much luck this spring though, I've found some great looking spots but my timings been off.
My other hobbies include go-kart racing, watching basically any type of racing, and yes at 36 years old I'm a PS3 junkie.....I'm pretty handy in a wood shop, I'm in the process of designing custom rod holders....but really any chance I get I just want to be close to water......
Looking forward to sharing my experiences with you guys and and learning from all of you members.
Tips Up,
David D.

I'm from Mississauga, Ontario trying to learn how to fish. I used to live in Vancouver when I was a kid and the fishing there was great.
Hopefully I can learn a thing or two here, meet some people to fish with sometime maybe.

We fish from our kayak every chance we get. Fish anything wide enough and deep enough to toss a lure into.
Am old grump. Retired and sound as a dollar. Have hunted and fished and camped all our lives.
Need advice, and have a few questions. In mid-to late June will be coming into Canada via Detroit/Windsor.
Heading toward Wheatley and Holiday Harbour campgrounds on Erie.
Then will head for Erieau/Rondeau. Camping in Rondeau Park on Erie.
Wondering about fishing Rondeau Bay for smallmouth and perch. Usually use artifical lures.
We are as dumd as a pile of rocks about how to go about this. Sure ya'lll are aware we fish largemouth here.
Also have some smallmouth in our creeks and rivers. But, what works here . And, what works there?
We ain't proud. HE (double HELP ) LP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need all the advice we can get. We have big water kayaked in Lake Michigan and Lake Erie so, the boat is no
problem in the Bay. But, how do we FISH up there????? Help!!!! Denny

Hello everyone! Name's Yen! I live in Markham, Ontario. I've only started to fish last year but my husband's been fishing since he was a kid! As I know nothing about fishing except for casting my line and playing around with my lures, I decided to look up some information so I can stop looking like the idiot wife of a pro fisher! LOL. Anyhow, thats how I found you guys, through Yahoo search! Other than wanting to look smart, I really wanted to get some info on some fishing spots and what to use for what fish and what situations!
Welcome aboard.Stick around here and you will get lots of information.
