Hello
I'm a female from Eastern Ontario. Fishing is more of a hobby for the husband and I, not an obsession lol. Sounds like you guys are pretty hardcore! Nice to see a local fishing forum. I look forward to hanging around and getting a few tips! Thanks.

Hi momfish25! Thanks for joining and welcome to OFF!

You are right, there are definitely some hard-core fishermen and fisherwomen here, but there are quite a few casual fisherpeople here also.

I hope you enjoy your time here and I look forward to hearing from you!

Please PM me with your mailing address so I can send your welcome wagon gift out to you.

Cheers!

Hi, I'm Donna. I haven't fished in many many years. I live in Northern BC and have only fished in rivers. I found this site through RFD and thought I would check it out. My nephew lives in Nakina Ont and is crazy for fishing. I think he might enjoy this place. I'll lead him in this direction. :D

Hi Donna, welcome to the site! I'm jealous of you! It must be nice to fish the rivers of Northern B.C.!

Since the gifts are only for Ontario residents, you can either send your nephew over here, or you can PM me with his mailing address and I'll send the gift to him if you'd like!

Cheers!

I'll make him register if he wants a gift. He will have to work for it. It is beautiful to fish up here. But Like I said, I haven't fished in many years. I am 42 now and haven't fished sine I was 20. I know how sad. :D I'll see if I can find some pictures from way back when. I am sure there are none with an actual fish in them. :D

Oh, and I lied, I did lake fish once, it was frozen. not fun. :D

Hey Everyone,

My name is Stan and I'm from the north Scarborough/Markham area. Been fishing since I was 3 and that was 3 decades ago. I have two kids and a don't get too much fishing done between work and the family, but try and get out for all species of fish when I do get a chance. Re-starting fly fishing soon but also am tied to the shore most of the time unless I get to go with one of my fishing buddies and their boat in the Kawarthas.

Tight lines but be safe around these high waters!

Stan

G'day all,

I'm a tranplanted East Coaster who's been up here on the mainland since 2K1. I've fished extensively in Nfld and Labrador and even had the opportunity to catch Artic Char up in Nunavut (only place to fish on God's green earth once you've experienced it). I've wet a few lines up in the Ottawa Valley, and was mighty impressed when trying to land the feisty little bass that populate the waterways in the area, and must admit one of the nicer fish I've caught to date was a dandy 6lb. pickerel I landed at Springtown Culverts back in 2003. Look forward to chatting with you guys and best of luck with the upcomng season!

Laterz,

raiderfish

Hey Alex, welcome aboard!

We have a few T.O. urban fishing guys here, so you're not the only subway fisherman around these parts.

I look forward to seeing that pike report!

PM me your mailing address for the goodies!
