I am just wondering how you people have found out about this forum ? (please be specific)

The reason for asking is to help grow this forums.

Also, I would like to know what has cause a sudden peak is new member registration.

Google to be honest!
I am really interest and excited to start fishing this year and wanted to learn more about the sport. I'm involved in another forum, not fishing, and just out of boredom wanted to talk about it. Googled fishing forum in durham or ontario and OFF popped up. Turns out to be amazing!

I googled it as well. Typed in ontario fishing forums and this site came up. Had I of known, all I had to do was put a .com at the end of my search and I would've been here sooner!! lol

Lead me to a website.
Someone one that site had a post saying to go here, so here I am!

I saw in 1 of the other forum about this forum.some1 from here posted that in this forum they have excellent spot for Bass in GTA.this is what interested me most and i visited and found it great.thanks to guy who posted .i found excellent forum and i look forward for great contribution to this forum.

i remember how openfire (i think) asked to make a section for gta ponds in ..... forum, and the admins refused to do so and started flaming, so openfire made a new forum, nice job. ive been here since the begining... shouldn't i have at least catfish under my avatar ?....

saw openfire's post somewhere else, and i like this idea of ponds and not only lakes.

Just finished checking the members list...there are a few that have been around since Sept 2006!

If I remember correctly, a certain thread from another board about experiment "ditch fishing" ... :roll:J/K

Not many people liked the idea so Openfire,with the help of Long lost Toober, started this little experiment!

Immediatley had a few members join and it started to grow........couple weeks later we had MikeyMikey!


The rest is History.

I was already part of fishontario forum, and was looking for another fishing forum for Ontario on google and this came up, so i signed up for it.

i personally googled toront fishing forums or something like that and i found OFF. Not only do a lot of guys know more then me on here they give you good fishing spots too. LOL

Free tackle was mentioned on redflagdeals.com was tempted to join other fishing forums but I'd rather join a local forum.
