I couldn't find any info on the net either. I'll try a satellite google image of gore rd and follow it north to see if I find it.

I always see the fishing sign on hwy 7 near the gore road in what I think is Brampton. Has anyone ever been to crater lake? if so what is it like and where is it? I drove north on gore road all the way to King Rd and couldn't find it, is it further up north or did I miss it?

YOU SHOULD HAVE DRIVE 2 MINUTES MORE, ITS JUST NORTH OF THE KING ROAD.POPPED IN LAST SUMMER.LOOKS LIKE A NICE LITTLE LAKE.NEVER FISHED THERE BECAUSE THEY CHARGE A RIDICULOUS FEE TO GET IN.
THE ONLY LINK I COULD FIND WAS FOR ICE FISHING:http://www.fishinontario.com/icefishing/craterlake/

Interesting any idea what the charges are from April onward? doesn't mention it on that site. $90(for 2 ppl for 8 hrs) for ice fishing is pretty steep.
Thx

Sorry to dig this up from the grace, but is this it to the west? Or the one more north? This Lake was owned and operated by a nature preserve group. Crater Lake is stocked with Walleye, Rainbow Trout, Speckled Trout and Perch. I haven't been fishing there since they closed and do not know if it is open for fishing.
Crater Lake?
