It's certainly less built up and if you don't mind a walk you're not going to run into many other people.

I'll be the tall guy in the red hat. With or without his tackle caught in an overhanging tree.

I usually head up the 35/115 to concession 3 and park around the bridge at Pollard rd and walk south from there

Hey all, im new but I bought a pair of wader last season and found some amazing spots that guys couldnt access unless they did have a pair. I go to bronte creek, theirs a public free parking at shell park just past rebecca st bridge, look closely for the driveway its basically beside a house. I have met some real idiout their close to the bridge that just gut a ton of fish and leave carcases, I talk to MNR this season and they will be down their alot, so theirs a heads up guys. If you walk of the creek and go around the first bend theirs some amazing pools for fly, or drift fishing. Hope this helps, and look forward to meeting any of you who are down my way. I spent close to $200 at the sportsman show this year getting ready for the season, should be a great one.

No Problem idesign, I hope you have some luck. I usually just go in with a spin cast and drift some row down, but I saw so many hitting the surface last year that im going to bring a fly rod this year too. But make sure you have a decent net and you dont mind chasing them down stream, I have had many take me for a ride, but believe me its worth it. They are in their really thick right now, I took my dog down for a walk today. The waters a bit murky and running pretty fast, just watch your step and you should have a great day. Hope to see you down their

Well read the regulations and it shows in a good detail of where you can and can not fish. Meaning... all the good spots to fish are listed in the regulation book.

I'll be trying the Rouge River this year. There is a fish ladder all the way up at Milne Dam at Markham Road (Hwy. 48) & Hwy 7 in Markham. I know they harvest rainbows from there for the Ringwood fish hatchery. On April 26th you'll be able to fish that whole stretch of river. Please note that there is no fishing 25 Meters from the dam. Good Luck on Saturday everyone.

Used to live on the Pine River, excellent runs of Steel in the spring and salmon in the fall. Used to be able to fish with your hands growing up there was that many.
Moved since but in the later years the runs did start to drop off.

Boyne runs right close by also not as good as the pine in my opinion but both rivers are full of deep pools to target!

http://maps.google.com/ search hornings mills, on

Shows the very top of the Pine scroll right and follow the river down.

Eventually joins into the Natawassage.

I love fishing the Pine just north of Everett. Very Clean water. It's getting harder to find access to rivers like this with all the NO Tresspassing signs on all the private lands. I never fished the Boyne, doesn't look as impressive as the Pine.
