yeah definitely. if you're planning to get a boat anyways, just look around craigslist for a price like that

i was at bps this past weekend and saw that they have a foldaboat. its 1500 dollars and is abot 10.5ft long wide too. with a good trolling motor that wouldnt be bad especially around the island canals and what not. im sure it would be better then a canoe.

Are you referring to a boat that they often call "port-a-boat", Port-a-boat, I think it is a fantastic idea, this is the one that folds to be just 4" high (when folded) and it weighs about 40 lb.
Is this the one they have at BPS now?
