I had a couple of these lures that I bought from BPS, but I haven't got a chance to use them yet...Any suggestions as to how I should fish it when I get around to going bass fishing???
Thanks

Check out the rapala website they have a whole section just on those lures.

I think yo are supposed to fish them in contact with structure like weeds and rocks. When the lure hits something you clear it by giving it a jerk or two. You can fish it by clipping the top of weeds or by cranking it over rocks or i think you can even fish it jerkbait style like an x rap.

u can fish them many different ways. my most productive way... cast it out, hold ur rod tip low dtraight in front of u, and snap it down 2-3 times. this will get it to dive down, then pause it, then a couple snaps again, pause. contine this during the retrieve. and then vary the speed u retrieve it, amount of time u pause it and times u jerk the rod. as was said, check the website out, they give a full video on it.

This would be the DT series from Rapala. They are designed to run to a certain depth and the lip is designed to not only bounce off things it runs into but also when you stop reeling, it actually backs up.

The xrap is to be fished with a twiching movement; an aggresive movement forward followed by a pause. When the fish are aggressively feeding, you need to move it quickly with a short pause, and when the fish are lathargic, you need to move the lure slower, with a longer pause.
