I would agree those are both good shows, certainly amongst the best. My favourite is the fishing edge with Al Linder because I think that the detail that he goes into to describe the technique. He has great illustrations and the underwater photography is excellent. I find that when he has explained a new technique, I have fewer questions than with other programs.

I worst fishing program in my opinion is a show called "Get Out" with Shelly and Courtney. I find that when I watch this show, it seems like they don't know what they are talking about and when the show is over, that I haven't learnt anything.

I don't like watching fishing shows. These guy get to fish in places that would cost someone like me thousands of dollars. with their $50.000 boat,$700.00 road and reel. Call it jealousy if you want. The only thing I can say is most of them get excited when they hook a fish, that shows me that they really enjoy fishing.

I like Darryl Cronzie's show especially his comments around the campfire he once was joking around that if someone is to close to your lake front property fishing and you don't want them there to throw rocks at their boat LOL

I also see him fishing mostly on dinky aluminum boats so I guess he does not care for the 50,000 bass boats lol

Musky Hunter and The Next Bite are way at the top of my list. I find the info to be useful, they actually break down the techniques they are using. I like fishing for Esox, so I'm a little more drawn to them.

i like fishin canada and extreme angler. both are very informitive, and they fish the areas that most of us fish. all easily accessible locations. they show the equipment use, the baits, how they rig and how they present the baits. i recently was able to watch a taping for fishin canada with pete bowman and mike miller on the grand river for channel cats, and oh my did they get some hawgs!

I think that the lindners show is definitely the most informative. Facts of Fishing show is also pretty informative about what exactly he is doing. I find that allot of the shows is just watching people catch fish.

i love the real fishing show because of the fish eye view it shows what the fish are really doing so it makes the show more believable .i don't like those shows were they always have a fish on and it cuts right to the next fish and there already playing it

For me It's nice to see someone catching fish, but if that's all there is then I would get bored pretty fast. I enjoy the programs that give the tips and techniques so that I can improve my skills and have more success.

What I like about this show is Dave Mercer's good sense of humour. I find that when he describes a particular technique, he often gives a too general description and does not go into enough detail.
