Hello.

I noticed that you can buy/review fishing license from one of those kiosk machines that I get my license plate stickers from.
If I buy a new license,,, does the machine give me the actual plastic card too? or just some sort of printed license form only? until card is mailed to me?

Good question.
I renewed my license online and now i have carry outdoor card & printed e-license.They will not send new card with sticker on it.That sucks. It is better to go Canadian Tire and get sticker instead. This way u don't have to carry 2 separate stuff.thx

I tried the kiosk last year and it will only renew your card if it has expired, not the yearly sticker. For those you still have to go to an outlet like Canadian Tire or BPS.

As far as how long it takes for the card to come in the mail, the last time I had to get mine it was about 3 months before it showed up in the mail.

I think I waited almost 8 months last time and after I finally called them 1-800-387-7011 it came in about 5 days.

Mine took a little over 3 months. I guess that depends on how fast the pony express moves. But you would think there would be a faster way to get the car.

Honestly. You get your temporary fishing liscense on a peice of paper. And they know your going to be fishing, so chances are your going to be in proximity of.. water. So there is a chance of it getting wet..

Duh.

Just wondering does anyone get the 3 year license or renew it on a yearly basis?
