this is what happened...

one day i was looking in my brother's maclean's magazine and i saw an advertisement in it for OFAH. i went to the website and told frozenfire, and he's like yea, that's old news... i said oh... and i asked him, do you think i should submit my fish pictures... and he said yea sure.

so i did. i received an e-mail stating how it will take them 4-5 days to place up posts... they will e-mail me... yet after this amount of time i did not receive an e-mail. more than a week later i did and they sent me spam... saying thanks for your efforts, become a member... buy this special package for $60 while it's worth over $100... something of that sort. i didn't think this qualified as a "your pictures were approved" e-mail so i asked frozenfire to check the website for me cause he was bored.

the next morning while at work (today), he calls me... and i find this odd... why would he call me for, especially so early... and he's like, i went to the website and you're in the banner!!!!!!!!! i was like whaaaaaaaaat? cool! seriously? and he says yes. when you submit anything to OFAH they consider it theirs... so they did not notify me about the banner or anything.

i'm pretty sure they only put it up to encourage girls to fish or something... it's not anything out of the ordinary.

that's the story!

darn.that's no good.I am sure ur pike was more then long then their minimum length requirement.why dont u send email back and ask them.thx

it is longer than the minimum length requirement, that's why they accepted the picture.
if you look under the northern pike section, you'll see the fish, also, she's got the 12 inch crappie in there too.

i didn't mean that it was a bad thing! it's fine with me as i agreed to all their rules before making a post.

they will only accept posts if your fish at least meets the minimum requirements.

Wow, congrats chibi, thats awesome. I think its great that your on the banner, I mean how many people do u know that are on that webstire, me now i know one! Congrats again and hope all is well,
