Hello,
If anyone can give me general advice on what is available to fish for during that weekend, and any specific lures, well be canoeing primarily the lower/suthern areas of the park, also how what would be open during that week? TIA

That weekend everything should be open. I know that many of the lakes have some pretty good trout fishing and also have some bass and pike.

Are you going to Smoke lake, wich is below Canoe lake, where the outfitter is, or are you going north of canoe with some of the portages...I have gotten some nice bass in Joe lake and Burnt island...and I have gotten some trout in Tom thompson...but I usually go early in the year, or later never in the middle of summer...I think you will be on the menu...lotsa bug spray.
