Looking to try out scugog and had a few questions?
1: is it canoe friendly
2: where do you park/launch a boat
3: the lake is an odd shape. if you are familliar with the lake where do you usually go?

here's the google map of it http://maps.google.c... ... 96631&z=12

North off 7 on Water st, stay to the right and go north to the Gov Docks.
Shallow lake, NP for canoes...just paddle fast when trolling. Once you launch, find weeds and wet a line.Watch regs tho!!

I know if you go all the way to the end of Island rd, there is a dirt road, that is crown land...follow the dirt road around and there is parking area...boat launch. I have even camped here a night.
good luck

On the crown land, no parking fee`s or boat launch fees, also plenty of room for trailer...just a thought.

I believe there is a crown land camping fee...no idea where to get one...I have camped on some crown land and never been asked, although I guess it`s a risk you run.

Try this link...it may help you
