Have you used it on any big water? or is it more for small water or slow rivers?

So far only on smaller lakes. I bought an electric motor for it so I may try some larger lakes.
The canoe floats well. had 3 fullsize men 600lbs plus in it once and that squated her down pretty good.
the canoe is pretty heavy if you plan on portaging alot, but you get what you pay for.

i got so excited when i saw the title as i'm looking for one personally.
however, 15.5 feet seems a little on the large/long side. It's made for 3 people, but i want one for 2... and small enough to fit on top of a civic coupe.
good deal though... thanks for posting.

I have a 15 ft canoe and it is a good canoe for 2 people, but this one is quite heavy.

15.5 will fit on top of a civic no problem. Just dont go over 120k/ph without clearance from air traffic control!
Seriously tho.. we had the 16 on top of our dodge omni many year ago, and it did look a bit odd, but the extra space is a nice thing to have on a canoe.
