Does anyone know best local shop to buy a St. Croix rod?
Exact model I am thinking of is . . . St. Croix Wild River 10'6" Medium Mod Fast.
Maybe 9'6" Medium Heavy Fast.
Than again... I would look for a used first.
Any used ?

I already know the place since it is close to my work.
They do have good selections but most importantly... staff there is extremely friendly. I mean very very friendly.
They do have excellent prices on St. Croix right now too.
They did had one Wild River 10'6" Medium Power - Mod Fast Action rod which I was interested on... but one the guy told me he would recommend 9'6" Medium-Heavy Fast Action rod.... but wasn't in stock at the time.

Last year I bought the Avid 96MF2 casting rod. Now they have the 10 - 6" with th IPC and I am thinking of getting it.
Light as a feather and can cast all day long with it.
I use a Calcutta 200B with 30lb sufix line, this combo can cast a mile and bring the fish pretty quick.

Hi Mikey,
I just bought the 9'6'' MH fast action st. croix rod. I got it through the "fishing hole" (online store) they have stores in Alberta. I think I got a fair deal, 160$ to my door, the local stores and bass pro wanted around 200$ with tax.
