Hey guys and gal's... I was woundering if anyone has fished the humber river between the 401 and steels. I live at 401 and Islington and the Humber is right in my back yard. Ive talked to many of the older people in the neighborhood and the used to fish their as kids for salmon and trout. I walk my dog there all the time but i never see anyone fishing. Any help would be great thank you.

I fished it when I was a kid. Only thing I caught was minnows, not sure if the salmon make it all the way up there nowadays.

I have been watching the Humber at Lawrence over the last few years and a few years ago I seen 20+ salmon in 1 hole and a dozen or so last year
I'll be taking a walk down there later today

that far up the river, the fish should be near dead... just let them do their thing and go head to the mouth for some fresh fish that will take you for a ride.
