pike are pretty skittish fish and are easily spooked. They are not the get out and attack type, but sit and wait for something to come by and surprise type.

I'm going to say no.

I don't beleive that for one minute. Probably scratched on a rock. They would move out of the area quickly and wouldn't even come around due to the noise.

maybe if the person was sitting with just thier leg in the water and being quiet the pike might have thought it was a fish in a stringer but i still highly doubt it

I have never heard of Pike attacking people, BUT Muskie will for sure. If you are swimming in a big Muskie Lake, locals will tell you to take off all jewllery...anklets and toe rings on the girls are a Muskie favoite lure!

I don't understand how come so many of u have such a hard time believing fish will attach, They do!

I swear on the "holly bible" I have teased a bass about 13" into biting my big toe yes a BASS biting my toe.

So if a bass can do it why the heck can't a big ass predator.

Once your in the water you are not considered as much of a threat as if u were in a boat or dangling off a dock.
The fish always look up for predators but as for in the water the big boys are kings of there castle and they know it so yes 99/100 just like all animals there fight or flight response is to run but that one time kaboom!

I believe it no problem. Anyone who has gone scuba diving can attest to this!
