I know there's ministry guidelines indicating it's okay, but do people actually eat trout out of the Humber near Old Mill without consequence?
I'm sorry if it's a silly question but it's just that 'dirty river fish' are so stigmatized I wanted to just check first hand haha!

Yes, people do eat trout of the Humber... without consequences? That remains to be seen.
I like to play it safe personally. If the ministry guidelines state that pregnant women and children should not eat it, then neither will I. If it can deform babies, then I think I'll pass. lol

what to eat and what not to its up to you, different cultures have different understanding about food, some eat bugs , some eat dogs. personaly i dont think the ministry tells the truth about the condition of the fish, i think its more dangerous than they say. if they said that water is too conaminated it would be alot of noise from communities and be danger to public. adult people might be ok cause they have stronger immune system, but like openfire said, if mnr says its bad for children, sorry - im not eating anything from there either.

Stil think it's better then farm raised fish that you eat...At least these salmon eat other fish instead of corn.
