Just wondering what people think of the fishing shows that are out there?

Here's my list

1. Fish n' Canada
2. Real Fishing with Bob Izumi
3. Facts of Fishing with Dave Mercer
3. Fish TV
4. The Fishful Thinker
5. Going Fishing with Daryl Coronzey
6. Getting Hooked
7. Canadian Sport Fishing
8. Dimestore Fisherman (most people hate this show but the opening theme song rocks!!)
9. Hooked with Mark Krupa
10. What a catch (you guys know why she made it on my list)

I seem to like freshwater fishing shows based in Canada. Ilike shows that target species that I would target, using techniques that I would.

So, I like FishTV since those guys always seem to be in Ontario. Minus points for saying "bud" every other word.
I like Fish'N Canada because they always seem to be in Canada. Minus points for fishing in BC too often.
I like Facts of Fishing because he fishes mostly in Ontario, in lakes accessible to me. Minus points for getting irritating occassionally.
Real Fishing with Bob Izumi is ok were it not for his frequent trips outside of Canada to fish. His lisp gets to me.
I would like the Mark Krupa show more if he went to places where I could possibly go to lol.

Non-Canadian shows I like include the Scott Martin Challenge, Fish PAA and the FLW when they are doing the Bass tour.

they would be the top 2, I also like Darryle Cronzie, but havent seen much new from him lately...unfortunatly I have basic Sattalite, so I Only get too see whats on on saturdays and sunday mornins.

I have to agree with the comments about the shows that are outside of Ontario. I just can't relate to "fishin the flats" down in the carribean, or fishing for Marlin and that sort of thing. Don't get me wrong, it looks like fun but I most likely won't be doing it any time soon. For anybody who hasn't seen the Dimestore Fisherman, here's a link to the program archives. Check out the Rice Lake episode, and crank it up and get out your air guitar!! lol!

Is Extreme Angler TV on regular TV? or WFN only? I buy their magazines, excellent.
