Nothing is wrong with keeping fish, especially if you are letting a badly injured fish swim away.

Nothing wrong with keeping some fish to eat. Same as the grocery store except they are fresher and not farm raised which is healthier.

Just started fishing, but so far I release everything and intend to keep doing so. Not only do I not like the taste of fish as well, but I just feel bad about killing anything.. As I said in my other topic, I released the minnows I bought after getting them home, and having my daughter make me feel bad about using them for bait...lol
i'm not sure if it is illegal to release baitfish that aren't caught in the same body of water

You're kidding right??? I'd guess they were from Scugog anyways, but even if they werent, I can't see it making any difference.. Not to mention I'm sure they didnt last 30 minutes. Released at my dock into the weeds where it's a virtual bass factory... but I really can't see how it would matter anyways..

http://www.survivalt... ... c-bottles/
just a few things, in these instructions it says to use a certain type of string to tie it, don't bother with that, just use braided fishing line, it's just as strong and it's more camouflage, and if you want to catch minnows, dry dog or cat food works best, for crayfish, oily meats like salamy, and for crayfish make sure that the trap is resting on the bottom of the lake/river
this work AMAZINGLY! you'll never have to buy bait again because it even works in winter
