Hello is there anyone out there who knows a lot about boat engine mechanics.like how to fix then because i have a few questions to ask about a certain part so i can be sure...thanks

Yea - what's wrong with it? the prop won't turn - it won't start - makes a funny noise - smokes - no power - stinks - leaks oil - can't catch any fish when using it - maybe I can help -

What's the make, model and year?

no its more of a question now...Evinrude 2 stroke 60 hp and i think the year is 1982.oh and does this motor have an air filter?idon't know so could someone explain this

No that year/model does not have an air filter. I think I have an electronic version of the service manual at home. If I do I'll email it to you.

I do have a copy of the manual but the file is 334 MB, too big to email. I downloaded it off of Ares P2P but you can try searching for it on any file sharing program. The name of the file is "johnson repair manual 1971-89 outboard 1-60hp". If you can't find it, let me know.
