With the rain we had over the weekend, LOTS of salmon pushed upstream.
They come in waves, so it should be steady action at the mouths for the next while.

Who wants to go chuck spoons with me? haha

I would like to.

When, where ? I suggest Port Credit, what do you think ?

I can do early mornings at Port Credit.

We should have a get-together!

DId a quick drive by there...
wind wasn't bad but wave was quite bad,

Oh and the water is totally brown.

but i've seen fish caught in this kind of ugly weather which most people don't bother with .

So you people will goto Credit @ Tuesday morning? If i can wake up, i'll stop by.

Leave a reply here if you CAN come.

Probably not tomorrow.
I've been working extra hours, so pretty tired.
I may be able to go later in the week.
Will keep you guys posted.

All right, thanks. Probably I will not go either, all of sudden this week looks not so promising to go, but next week - for sure

How can you access there?
Isn't it fenced/private property or something like that ?

Once you've parked there, you can just freely walk around to wherever you want to fish.

Thak you.

Is this place only good to park during evening hours?

How about morning or is it safe all day long?

Sorry for asking so much but more knowledge the better.

Thanks.

lol!!!

I've only fished this spot in the late winter / early spring for steelhead, and I fished near the "death choke point", but from what I remember the "damned private property" is part of an old marina, no longer in use. So, I don't see why you couldn't just walk over there and fish. I'm not sure about the borderline area.

I would love to hit up some salmon fishing since I've never caught one but I'm afraid a salon would snap my rod in 2. I have an 8 and a 6 foot rod and I normally use them for walley and bass think a salmon would snap em? also what line should I use?

Should be fine,
My first salmon was caught with a 6'6 $20 rod with 20lb fireline.
