Went out tonight from 7:30 -9, thought the storm would bring me a few bites before my late night soccer game, all i got out of it was a 4$ debt when my little cleo got snagged lol
Lol I hate when that happens. Can't let in sink to low at pc or it's gone. I think I lost 4 last year.. Some of the others got free because the hooks bent

Yup, there is one specific spot at PC that will get your cleo every time if you let it sink. I would love to take some diving gear and recover all those lures... There must be thousands of $ worth at that one spot alone.

Got all my required spoons from Lebarons already, for me the glows spoons the one with the dots work the best. I cannot remember the name of it.Does everybody have there gear ready? pick up any last minute spoons?.. btw what colour cleos work better for you? (glow and non-glow colors).

But many times the j13's work better.
I just need to spool one more of my Stradic 3000FI and I am ready to go

Lebarons has a nice enough to choose from for now.. Until we see that first pic of a salmon on the forums than *poof* " sorry sir wherr all sold out of the 3/4oz. Ha!
Stratic that's your reel!! Thats amazing.. I feel like a cheap ass Because I purchased a $20 reel from basspro ( I know I shouldn't cheap out on my gear) however I am in search of a new reel today.. I was thinking of the Abu Garcia orra s30 ($69.99). If anybody has suggestions for a good reel in this price range let me know thanks!!!!!

One word...'OKUMA". They are making the best spinning reels at the best prices now a days. The new shimanos are a joke IMHO, but if you can get a hold of the older model stradics (or any older shimano) from a few years ago, buy it and dont even worry about the price (they are a dime). Any of the okumas are good, they are salt water grade reels with amazing drag systems. I highly reccomd you take a look at the Inspria, Safina, V System and the new Raw 2. Great internals, very reliable, the same ones i use in ontario lakes ive used out in the ocean with amazing results, where other (more expensive) reels have failed miserably.
Good luck,
Dimitri
