4:30 am for me right at the end of the rocks.

Green Cabela's backpack and I will be carrying two rods, one casting and one spinning setup.
Cannot miss me because no one uses a casting reel out there.

If you are not fishing the mouth piers but the credit river in Erindale park, is the best time still in the morning and 2nd best time when the sun is going down?

Which guys were you? I walked to the end but it was full @ 4:45 am. Were you the guys with the cooler? Did guys throw any J-13's at the corner?

Water was very clear after the rain on Thursday made it that much more difficult. I knew it would be a tough day after several casts u could see the GID spoons very clearly.
I am sure most of the salmon went right up into the park with all that rain.

Rainbows, Coho and Browns should be showing up pretty soon.

I have been at Bronte a fair bit, both at the Pier and in Petro Canada Park. I've seen a lot of action at Bronte, a lot of salmon jumping, especially mid-week last week, but I didn't hear/see a lot landed. I was there yesterday and today at the Pier and I didn't see much action either, although a guy landed a large salmon at the tip of the pier and he said there were a lot jumping in the open water, but I didn't see anything in the harbour. I was there yesterday until about 630, and today until about 7ish just as the sun was rising. I don't know if it picked up after that.

In Petro Canada Park, I was there on labour day and saw about half a dozen dead salmon and none alive. I was there again on Saturday morning just to see if anything was being landed. Parking lot was packed and 1 guy I talked to had landed a smallish salmon but said there wasn't a lot of action. I went into the creek again on Monday morning after the pier and there was nothing doing, and everyone I saw in the creek hadn't seen anything either, dead or alive.

hey sorry to be a pain but i've been going to the port ( credit) for about a week straight and have caught NOTHING and lost about 3 of my spoons and j13's.

it takes me about an hour drive from my place to port credit and was wondering if i can get a little info on getting to this " bend" of the credit you're all talking about, like where would i be able to park and walk to just to get to the bend?

i really want to catch atlease one salmon this year!
thanks again

I was at P.Credit last night for about an hour just after dusk...very calm, very bright moon....no fish hooked. Saw only one jump that looked like a Chinook. Saw a couple more jumps from smaller fish. One might have been a trout I thought...

I suspect the run is over, but there will be a few fish remaining. My last hookup was a week ago, but I lost it, as it almost spooled me and broke me off.
