centerpin small help needed

hi guys.
i decide to try the centerpin
i am researching few days. realized one pin dose work for decades with proper maintenance..
of course kingpin islander and etc. expensive and highest end gears...
but, budget... ha..

between raven matrix and okuma aventa..
only 169 and 179 dollars
can you give any advice for these two gears..

you get what you pay.
you are right, good pin will last you long, get a good one from beginning and take good care of it.
if you go with any of these reels you will lose money at the end, cause after one or two seasons you will want upgrade, and they will depreciate in value fast. invest more money now and you won't regret.
if you tight on the budget, get used one, people usually take good care of them, if you want new one, look for islander or streamside. you should fit in 300 bucks.

what centerpin you have and what is your favorite.. and which one you think the best?

I have g-loomis. Started with aventa, felt the difference right away. Aventa felt cheap compared to loomis. Lomis is like a tank and I don't think I'm gonna change it anytime soon, maybe bearing upgrade some time in the future.
There is no best, it's all personal preference and budget. Go with popular brands like islander, kingpin. And later you can move up to angling spec, mykiss and so on.

STREAMSIDE FL478 is the gloomis oem? and if it is 12oz..isn it a heavy gear?
cause i have no experience of pin..

Streamside, tournament drifter and gloomis are similar reels, the streamside I saw at ang spec was blue in color.

It is heavier than most reels, but I like it, it feels solid. The raven sst3 weights half that, but don't think it can as much abuse as loomis or islander.
