Thanks for posting this. I browsed the flyer, nothing really blew me away. I was expecting some better deals.

Hey, I'm just wondering what's the best place to buy fishing rods and other equipment based on warranty?(example:if rod breaks)

That's based on company, not store.

The Sahara combo on the front page looks like an pretty good deal, though I'm not familiar with the rod. It's probably priced where it should be - I think the advertised list is inflated. One thing about Bass Pro, is they seem to ignore the dollar fluctuations. Our dollar has gained quite a bit, and our prices are still pretty high compared to U.S... cash grab? I think so... a similar Sahara combo south of the border is retailed for around $150 - go figger - where do they get the $209 from??? Sale price at $129 is more like $30 off, not $80.
Art least LeBaron and other local stores seem to adjust accordingly, and pass on the savings.

It's why I now tend to buy online from American stores. Sure, you pay $15 SH, but you save a lot more.

No, I'm talking about store warranty not the manufacturer's.

I used to do that and once I really got dinged good for duties - now I just pick up when I'm down there. Else I buy local, help the little guy out.
