I did not go Monday to lazy to get out of bed in the morning, Went tuesday afternoon thinking that the river would clear a bit... NOPE. I am not as familiar with the credit as i am with Huron Tribs but it might be a while before that river improves. I think for the next little while I'll be fishing the saugeen and the sauble. GL

With the rain lately credit is very muddy, I would think with rain friday it will be no better for the weekend. Low visability but may hit a fish if you get it right under its nose.

If you can fish saugeen or sauble why would you go to credit? Saugeen is soooooo much better.

I usually only fish the credit because it is a 45 minute drive for me versus a two hour drive to southhampton. Not knocking the credit ive had a few good days there but I would definatly prefer the saugeen. I have a cottage 5 minutes from dennys dam so I know what you mean when you say that the huron tribs are better. With a young family sometimes duration of trip is a real issue.

Love Saugeen, was there 2 falls ago, the water was bathtub clear. Guys were using 4lb test and still not getting much. I may go for opener this year.

As for the Credit, I went this past Thursday and it was described as "Chocolate Milk" by another angler walking back to his vehicle. I had a look and was dissapointed to see that. (I drove from Keswick). Made my way to an east trib that usually clears up quickly. VERY slow, only had 1 one, probably snagged it from the way it fought. It spit the hook after a 5 minute fight. There were approx 50 people fishing the small section, made it tough.

With rain coming monday, hopefully the rivers will clear up for the weekend.

Took a trip to the credit today. Still chocolate milk and angry like a pissed of grizzly. Was hoping for some evening fishing but I didn't even bother. Hopefully it'll clear up for tomorrow.

High and dirty doesnt mean the fish arent there. If the river is not at flood stage, you can still catch fish and have the river to yourself. Hint hint

I can assure you, its not..Not the credit at least. Some type of man made contribution is causing alot of the murky water around the streetsville/erindale area, cause in brampton the credit is considerably clearer. Most likely due to the wonderfully designed storm run off's and horrible construction ethics. Yaaaay for shitty engineering! :-D

^I agree with you on the wonderful engineering efforts...LoL
I hadn't been by Bronte in about 5 years.. and I was shocked to see how much development and change had taken place.. It looks like they totally rebuilt the bridge just N of Timmies..
-I will drop by both the Credit and Bronte on Sat to provide an update.. I was hoping to make a trek out east to the ganny.. just hoping someone can provide an update in the other thread.

Happy Friday!

I might be sick on thurs  ... if anyone else is planning to be sick that day and wants to meet up in erindale or one of the tribs out east.. Let me know!

Had a little time this morning and dropped by the credit.Didn't have my rod but spent a hour or so there.approx. 9-10am.Nobody there when I first showed up but a few anglers showed up 15min or so later.watched a couple fellows for a half hour or so but things were a little slow than. The water looked a bit cloudy but The sun was just getting up over the river.I think it might of been a pretty good day. Will not forget to at least keep one rod with me from now on this season. davey
