If you go to Canadian tire you will find rubber fake pike lures. There is two sizes one large and one small. They are incredible for pike and I have caught walley, bass, and catfish on them. I personally use the larger ones but large pike will still go for the smaller version. The larger ones come in packs of 2. The smaller ones come in packs of 4.
Last year I caught a 28 lb Pike off the shores of Pembroke, Ontario on the Ottawa river. Another lure that has not let me down and landed me the 28 lb pike is the Giant Killer. Its a medium-large spinner. I believe it is mepps but they are also sold at Canadian Tire.
Between these two selections, if there is pike there, they will hit.

this time of year the pike will be in the shallower, warmer water, we fish weedy bays, rocky points and rocky shorelines making sure there is deep water, at least 25 feet, close by, try body baits like rapalas, spoons like williams wablers or big (6 inches) sucker minnows on a jig, in muskoka I like gold colours better than silver colours, I like fishing the late morning and early afternoon the best for pike - good luck
