Mill pond is fantastic for small panfish and the occasional walleye.
However, for better fishing within half an hour, i'd suggest Kelso Lake or even Mountsberg Conservation.
Check it out!

Kelso is alright for panfish, Mountsberg has alot of small pike and bass, but is very weedy and shallow.
try floating a worm down the east wing of 16 mile creek.
In the last week I've pulled out a 3 1/2 pound yellow bullhead, a few smallmouths(biggest one was 4 pounds) and a few 5-6 pound carp.
find a nice deep hole or a large deep pool somewhere and you'll have some luck, go between 7-9pm,
The bugs get annoying but the fishing is better than expected.

Lions Valley is still closed, have to go to a couple other places park and walk down, and that puts use south of Lions Valley, I live on the west side of 16 mile. I am def down for walking 16 mile and seeing what happens if you want to some day, or someone else wants to as well...Can come to my place and than I can take us were to park so we dont have such a huge walk, the walk back up all the trails from the creek is KILLER sometimes though, so gettin in a car right after that is good compared to walking another 5-10 mins haha. I'm from the 16 mil area, and I'm a lil unsure what is meant by the east wing of 16 mile...would love to find this place and try it out.
