Thanks, you too. Whole weekend is crappy weather, I hope some fish will still bite.

Think I may stay home and fix my gear for next weekend when it's warmer and fish will be hungry :D

I got nailed with "THE LIST"

1. Put rod down.
2. Paint bedrooms, halls, most of house.
3. Clean house.

Got skunked today at Lake Ontario. I had one on in the morning, but it got off

Where on Lake O were you? Did it get off right away or did it run out into the lake like a bonefish?

HAHA, that sucks man!! I know i'm like a week late lol...I never made it out either, i got pretty sick sat night. I was out in the Norfolk Thursday with my old boss from No Skills err No Frills haha. I caught my 1st Bluegill, and he pulled in a Bluegill and a Perch as well. We were out for almost 5 hours on this one pondish lake, and thats what we caught. Than we went over to Grand at the Brantford Conservation area and got skunked there. All in all it was a good day though!!

I went to take a picture of my first Bluegill, which I had to cut my line on because the hook was soo far down stupid panfish, and as i went to take the picture he jumped back for the water and was gone haha.

Ha ha. Slippery fish. John and I went ot Six Mile Lake. It's a ok lake, but too many boaters buzzing around the place. Could not find a quiet spot where boaters would not go. Most if not all did'nt even bother to slow down for canoes/kayaks or even us. OPP marine would have had a field day handing out tickets to these ignorant boaters. Not good for very small boats.

Fish were not active and only caught small LMB, sunfish, and a few perch. Need a boat with gas motor to get to deep spots, he has a trolling motor so can't get to them. Was fun to be there, very warm day, perfect to be out on a lake, any lake. I hear some people don't like the taste of bluegills and prefer sunfish. I never noticed the difference. I find it's too much work to clean the small ones so I throw them back if they are less then my whole hand size. Lake had lots of pine needles on the surface, it get caught between your line and you have to constantly clean it off.
