Do you have any useful info for the topic, like what your set up is, lures, flies, bait etc, surface, bottom...? It would be nice to learn what works for you.

nope... I bet your not even looking in the right area.
Mikeh, the problem is you cant learn what I know about fishing over the computer... Ive been fishing for more than half my life and each time I go out, even now I still try something different to learn more than what I know now...
Of course im not a d$ck head so ill tell you that I was float fishing with Chinook roe bags drifted about 2-3 ft from bottom. But that info alone wont catch you fish, you gotta learn how to read water, ive fished that river enough that I know where the snags are and where the fish sit given the amount of water flowing at that current time. fishing the lake like I was wind and water clarity are also variables. The best possible advice I can give to anyone is to just go out and fish! If your lucky maybe you'll bump into me somewhere out there then I can show you a thing or two, but that's highly unlikely since I don't like to fish where most people do.

Thanks for the tackle info, you can always learn something from someone elses success.
What you consider to be non-learnable is what most other pros put into their books on tactical fishing. Read the water, understand target species patterns, wind and water temp variables.
(especially bass fishermen, judging by the volumes out there!). I was just trying to make the topic more interesting than 50 guesses as to where the "top secret" pool is.....

the "top secret pool" I was talking about is lake Ontario... but yeah this place is pretty secluded considering its not off the 401 and is surrounded by private land, only the beach is crownland... opps ive said enuff.
