Great picks. Always love lookin at rainbow modeling. Gonna do it up at saugeen on Sunday.

GL there Garfield, I love that river. I haven't been able to make it there for years. When I was in my teens and early 20's I used to fish the Saugeen year round, probably 30 week ends a year. There is every fresh water fish known to Ontario in that river. I used to go out below Dennys in Feb. in my waders and 5 pair of longjohns  There was Skamania back in the day.

Alfie.

Nice fish and colourful too. My two friends and myself equally had a great success day today . All of ours though were caught on dew worms under a float .[attachment=8669:awesome 037.jpg][attachment=8668:awesome 029.jpg][attachment=8667:awesome 027.jpg][attachment=8666:awesome 046.jpg]

-In the first pic, the Hen was spitting out roe so I didn't have time to get a great shot of her... just snapped one quick and returned her to the hole..

What do you mean it was spitting out roe? Was it loose or was it coming out of it's mouth (that's what she said)

Loose roe.. She was a fall spawner.
I have landed a few that were full, but they were not loose.
-All were set free (we need them to reproduce!)

I think fall spawners shoot blanks don't they? Like they don't actually reproduce? Could be wrong... Anyone care to share what they know?

From personal experience, I believe they do reproduce.
