anyone know where there is some diaichi single egg hooks everywhere up here is sold out, tried eagle claw laser sharp today look decent but they dont seem to set into fish very well.

I always found them to be excellent.
Sometimes, could be a "bad batch" which should;nt be.

What I like about them is their sharpness.
Never failed me, knock on wood.

lol maybe i did hang a lot of drywall this week .....havent looked bps or le barron pretty far out of the way you guys go to gannons at all? here is a pic of a nice GB brawler he took this fish on 2lb leader w/ spinning gear, the fish went bonkers in the pool jumping at least 5 times and taking blistering runs he went 1/2 i was 0/2 maybe the hooks or maybe my lack of confidence in them...... also hard to set hook w 10 ft leader. first skunking since 2 week of sept.[attachment=8696:309774_10150930168465261_619645260_21516400_677628301_n.jpg]

Give Gagnon's in the Shwa a shot. They are just off the 401 conveniently. Been in there in the past & never let down yet. Hope this helps, Rock

Orillia... i'm gonna give gannons a shout besides i hear some of my buddies that used to hang around FISHONLINE when i worked there are frequeting that store also its on the way to some spots we fish so its conveinent too.

If you live in orillia go to trombleys tackle box they're starting to carry more stealhead stuff. The had raven gamakatsu, owner, daichi and blackbird hooks last time I was there

If you're gonna check out gagnons in the shwa, you should also try tightlines in pickering. 050 Brock Rd, Pickering, ON L1W 3X4, (905) 837-0544. Very nice guy running the place, picked up a new rod off him just the other day.

Bps has everything. Why drive an spend $10 in gas just to save a few bucks. Bps has really good hooks for a good price.

If you're just up in Orillia Rack n Reel here in Barrie has them in stock. Picked up some on Saturday. They had about 8 packs left if I remember correctly. Size 10 gold daichi single salmon egg hooks. $5.90 / pack

thanks they must have reloaded eh cause i bought all their size 14 awhile back when things looked like they were drying up did they have 14s or 16s or just the 10s?
