Channel Cats near Oshawa/Whitby??

Hey guys

Just wondering if anybody has had any luck catching Channel Cats near Oshawa or Whitby? Or anybody with advice on Winter fishing for Channel Cats would be greatly appreciated.

I imagine lakeview park (I think thats what its called) and that channel there could be a good spot for channel cats... if there are any to be had near oshawa. I'd recommend a sliding egg sinker rig with something meaty and ystinky as bait. I've caught bullheads on everything under the sun and even got a 10lb channel on a spinner bait casting a log on the trent goes to show you never know what you can get them on. This time of year stinky and motionless would be your best bet.
