Those are two beauties, thanks for sharing.

Some guys will hold you to a much higher standard on the internet - ie. complain about holding fish by the gills, seeing blood on the fish, etc. Just a heads up.

Yes, nice fish but.... gill grabbing does serious harm to fish. If those were released, they are likely floating belly up somewhere. Just an FYI

yeah thats a friend of mine holding them. if i grab them that way i put my finger as close to the jawline as possible, keep it well away from the gills, hopefully he did as well. the female brown bleeding was caught that way, i think she may have been caught before and milked as she had no eggs in her.

Sweet fish!
I have been wanting to find a good shore spot to throw some spoons out. Are you fishing the Niagara area?
Any chance we could trade info on some hot spots?
