i would be up for some of the off members hitting up some where to fish together.i'm from down in the southwest,so i only make a few trips a year to try for salmon/steelhead.it would be great to learn from some of the others members in person.

just an observation but wondering why a post involving one pic of a bridge on a pool that everyone and their dog knows consistently puts out get so much heat. when a new joiner posts pics of an extremly small creek with familiar looking cedars... also holding a big hen brown vertically by the gill plate then posts video of themselves fishing on a redd and crashing up and down the creek fighting it and everyone congratulates them. I have been fishing trout salmon and steelhead for 15 yrs and always thought this was two things we generally look down on. here is a little report from the north fished a bunch this week tried some new hooks caught some fish lost some fish made some friends and generally had a good time doing it . water is high and clarity varied greatly from watershed to watershed. also does anyone know if MNR is still stocking browns in GB i though they scrapped that project awhile back but caught a nice one with a clip back in a local honey hole. will be happy when the rivers freeze and all there will be in pics is vast expanses of lake simcoe ice.

Surely there is a wee bit of code that locks out "guests"....thereby alleviates the angst that so often overtakes the forum.

Don't think I'd be able to make it either, I had an intervention last night from my girlfriend and some friends "luc... You have a problem and we want to help you with it. You fish too much." and I said no that's not true at all, i work and sleep to much and don't fish enough! I'd love to set something up for the week of opener in the spring, one river, 20 OFF guys, lots of experience and knowledge!

I say we do it when its actually a challenge. Not much of a competition when theres pools of 100s of fish that will hit anything... just sayin

I was thinking of doing it on a GB trib, where there's not 100's of fish that will hit anything, there's 10 fish in a pool that have already seen everybait imaginable, and are 50% wild.
