Until the spring... Pics from yesterday

Was my best fall season by far. Learning how to use my centerpin and doing very well with it, learning my own spots, tricks and methods, learning how to read water and what to avoid. I only fished one lake O trib for steel this year, I love GB and Huron, I have since I was a wee lad. The morale of this story... I love this game, and i love our migratory species. Here are some pics from yesterday. Tough conditions with heavy pressured water, change up your tactics and it pays off. I'm patting myself on the back because I used to be the guy who never caught anything, and I would like to state (for the record) that the pool we fished from 10:00 til 3:00 had 8 anglers, 13 fish were successfully landed, and i went 8/12+. It's a pretty good feeling when you have everything set up so perfectly that it all just works out. Yes that is bragging, but I feel good about it and wanted to share with my fellow anglers. Too the pics!!!!

That is some serious bow action, the second last fish is incredible. Never seen so much blue on a bow. The last one has some brown genes!

And what do you mean " until the spring " - steelhead season lives on in the winter months too.

darn I missed a good thing on that one i guess floatdown....good work this season sounds like you made some "reel" breakthoughs in you river game...was standing on a good sized lake three days ago........heading out with the drills tommorrowlots of snow up this way. but no Ice
