Just wanted to know if anyone knew if Frenchman's Bay was safe to go out on and how many inches are there

If there is ice, the ice is very new!
Be careful if you're going out there!

Apparently it's been freezing and thawing quite a few times over December.

A friend's brother was doing ice rescue training last weekend at frenchmans bay and he said the ice was pretty thin and wouldn't be fishable. Not sure what its like since then

Ice Rescue Training kind of sums it up. My brother lives in Port Perry and said Scuggog is in full swing. Lots of ice, lots of activity..........
