Hello, I am looking for anyone who might have advise on where there might be some Decent Perch fishing in Muskoka.
In particular Lake Rosseau, Lake Muskoka, Lake Vernon, and/or Mary Lake by Port Sydney. Or any other lakes near that area.
I want to do some ice fishing up there this winter and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys, and good luck fishin to all.

I think I need to clarify what I'm asking.... Has anyone ever caught any Perch, up in the muskoka area? Any time of year? In north Lake Rosseau, Mary lake (Port Sydney), or Lake Vernon?
With a boat or ice fishing.
Thanks.

Hey most of the lakes in the area have perch but they are not jumbo. Lake Muskoka has tons just fish near weeds but most are pretty small around 7-8 inches.

Thank you, for replying Coreyhkh.
Lake Muskoka is one I haven't got to yet, but I will.
I've been fishing a small amount up there the last few years on Skeleton lake. Its a very deep lake and slow fishing, has big fish if your patient.
Whenever I asked the locals if they know of where I might find Perch in other lakes. They look at me funny, and say why would you want to catch those?....lol.
So that is why I asked here.
I have a boat on a trailer and when we go out, especially with young kids, I like Perch for the sheer fun.
Thanks again.
