Hey Waterboy,
To answer your question I'm not exactly 100% sure as I've never fished that particular area.
However, as a kid we used to visit the area of Lafontaine, just west of Penetang. Parents had a cottage there. As a kid, we used to swim a lot and venture around through the forests there ( mostly private land ). I remember watching, what I beleive now, were trout jumping out in the main body of water there. We used to run around in the forests and there were a few streams, we're talking little tiny flows of water that aren't even on the map. As a kid I remembering my father taking me there and catching trout, I went back a few years back and now this particular stream is a sanctuary, which was cool because when I went there, I saw two good sized steelhead just chllin' out, awesome to see such beautiful beasts in protected water. This was in the fall when we went collecting mushrooms.
That is all I've got really, haha, I know it isn't much, but start looking around, you will find PRISTINE creeks with VERY little or no pressure holding fish. Best of luck on your future adventures

I fish around here frequently........actually seen a nice hen at the lock at port severn while fishing walleyes one time. creeks in this area are close too 100 % natural fish and unstocked so treat them with care.
