Pike are year round in lake O???
Not sure I understand what you mean...They move between deeper waters when temps hit 65+ and back to the shallows for spawning at 40-50, with some movements inbetween in fall, but it's still Lake O.

Are there any fish there this time of year?
Anytime now! The temps are starting to hit the spawning range, so the Pike will be seeking out shallow waters / wetlands along the waterfront.
We have until end of the month before the Pike season closes for April and half of May.

Are we to expect better fishing on sunny days when the water is warmer?

Move north of the road bridges and fish the big bend reed wall and the Humber marsh shallows.
