I'm located in the Scarborough area so my fishing options this weekend are Frenchman's Bay, Rouge Park, and Highland Creek.
I've never tried fishing at any of these locations and was wondering which one you guys recommend I try first at this time of the year? I'm interested in any type of fish and will stop by at Canadian Tire to pick up whatever bait / lures I need.
Your comments / suggestions are much appreciated!
Cheers.

I haven't caught anything worth mentioning around here. Hopefully somebody can chime in because I'm interested as well. edit: I did see somebody catch a sizeable freshwater drum on a black/white daredevil spoon at frenchman's by the bridge.

I have only ever fished Frenchmans Bay at this time of year. I have scouted Highland and the Rouge and fished the Rouge once before but came up dry, mind you I was fishing for pike.
As far as FB goes, there are pike and carp there. For pike use a suspending crankbait like a Rapala Husky Jerk, Cotten Cordell has some also.
They other spots will probably have both species as well as I have seen a pike caught in the rouge right near the lake.
Im sure there will be trout in the rivers now.

According to this article, the rouge river mouth may yield pike: http://torontofishin...r-mouth-fishin/
I went there last week right under the railway bridge near the mouth. Stuck around for maybe 40 mins, then got bored and left. If you are casting overhead standing under or near the bridge...be careful! I lost a nice crankbait that got stuck to the bridge and I had to cut my line.
