Be that as it may--and given that Oncorhynchus mykiss is a glutton, that is, nothing short of voracious, feeding on anything and everything (a little on the dumb side too it could be said)--how is it that the sure-fire pattern, technique, presentation, temperature + water condition etc., etc., etc. will not produce...NO WAY, NO HOW, NO NEVER???
The short of it gentlemen--a proposition for your consideration, deliberation, and perhaps vexatious recall:
What expert-guaranteed-to-produce-vicious-chrome, pattern or lure has, in your capable hands absolutely failed to produce that lovely head-shake from an angry Mykiss??
My quarry has turned up its nose many times to the offer below (never have I caught a steelhead on this "sure-fire" pattern). Just leaves me rather giddy thinking about that moment when it WILL turn that fish's head......
