Went out yesterday, gorgeous day. Got there around 2 pm and fished a buncha different spots and lures, at first I was using everything n anything, just to cover water n see if I get bites or even follows, because like how it was yesterday, water was still kinda cool, the fish will follow! ... Keep those polarised on n keep an eye out. I was throwing silver n gold Williams ..red n white spoons..even threw ny xrap..my mepps #5..non worked. I knew I was fishing over a weed bed or somn cus I'd get weed almost every cast...so either the fish didn't want to bite or they weren't there, so i took out my personal fav...silver n black husky herk...first cast same spot..I threw it out n reeled once to get the lure to sink a bit and i just let it sit for a good minute...started reeling real slow and light jerk ...the fish followed all the way to shore I saw it when it came into the sun..it turned away ..fast .. tossed it next cast same thing...and bang..fish on..brought it in..nothing big but it was fun and learned a lot bout these fish..had another one right before sunset..no pic for that one..little guy.
Thx to MichaelAngelo for the camera work...I randomly bumped into him and we started talking, so he asks me if I'm on any forums, I'm like yeah OFF ...LOL

Great report. I've been trying to make my cranks suspend with a bit of split shot clamped on to the trebles. Going to try lead tape when i can get my hands on it. Golf store, wal-mart? anybody know where I can find it?
