lookind for good spots to fish in london, is there anyone with some ideas?? and whats fanshawe like and what bait should i use??? going to give it a try in the morning

hey johnny. First welcome to the boards. Glad to have yeah on here. Not to be a prick to yeah just giving yeah a heads up, you wont get much advice or hints from those in your area yet. Why not tell us a bit about yourself, what yeah like fishing for regularly, and other stuff yeah know . spend time on here, and when other members see the posts count go up, they might be willing to share a lil bit more with you, or even meet up with you for some good ole fishing can never go wrong with some of that now can yeah haha

new here, hoping to meet some great fishing buddy and learn all i can about fishing. i fished my whole life, but only used live bait i don't know how to even begin with lures.
i love fishing, if i'm not at work or home i'm somewhere on the lake or river. just learned about this site, hope to meet some good people...

Hey Johnny. I'm not from the London area, but a friend of mine fishes the Thames and tells me there are some nice Bass and Pike, when in season. He also gets Gar there.
Minnows will work for all these fish. I do see the Thames quite often when I am working out that way and would hazard to guess that it also holds Channel Cats and Carp.
Keep us informed of how you are doing, I for one work in London quite often and maybe I will stay there sometime and fish an evening instead of driving all the way back to Hamilton.

hey thanks for the help, was on the thames last night in behind labatts and cought a few hugh carp. with bread of all things.

Ahoy, I'm a Londoner as well! The thames/pond mills are your best bets in london - just be wary of sinking lures as you will probably lose a few in the thames! Good luck!
