I stopped into Ashbridge Park last night.
Only there from around 6.30pm until 8pm.
Weather was fantastic, its a great view of the sunset over the city, very calm waters.
I fished mostly off the wooden dock at the marina - no luck (again!)
I was using mostly spoons, but did switch up to plastics.
I did see some fish breaking the water, I think it was trout...
Met a couple of people there, heard reports about good pike here, but I didnt see any.
Oh, and I did see a beaver...i think he is trying to take that deck home with him! I could hear him chewing away on the deck and then heading off with the wood...entertaining if nothing else!

if you saw a beaver chances are thats what was breaking surface, they slap their tails when they feel unsafe. As for pike slowly swimming a jerk bait with a couple short pops will get you fish but make sure to work the water well.

wooden deck close to the bay entrance....cast j13 ...parallel to the boardwalk....brown trout often patrol that area....but they are not sitting there but traveling through 5pm to dark
