Dave Clark,

I’m sorry about the recent experience you had regarding fishing along the Waterfront. We hope the attached press release gets the ball rolling in a constructive fashion. Complicated topic, it seems; but it shouldn’t be.

See you at the fishing derby!

A huge thank you to the Toronto Port Authority....
this organization has shown class and integrity all the way.....
from the moment we were in contact with Michael Riehl Deputy Harbour Master
we have been given his ear to our complaints and problems...
he has listened....he has been understanding....he has been respectful
he has been a voice of reason in a time of crisis
his efforts to find clarity in the "muddy legal waters" has been of great help...
we will never be able to fully repay him for his efforts and time....
he has our thanks and our respect
sincerely
dave clark

ps we can start repayment by keeping his port clear of litter and being gentlemen when we fish....

Mayor Rob Ford is M.I.A.
in all fairness its been a busy week for the Mayor
he is an avid fisherman...he is always welcome to join us
we sure could use his support during negotiations with the city....

the good thing is that it made it to the headlines, hopefully the end result will please all the harbourfront fishermen.

Excellent job!

The Toronto Port Authority (TPA) announced today that it will initiate a dialogue with several key waterfront stakeholders, including the City of Toronto, Harbourfront Centre, Ontario Place, Waterfront Toronto and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources...

Glad they didn't include all those yuppies who bought megabuck condos built on what should have been parkland. I'll bet that some of them would be more than willing to keep a bunch of grubby fishermen from despoiling their expensive view of the lake.

we really need to thank Mark McQueen chairman of the board of directors of TPA .
i called mike riehl to thank him for the news release and tpa initiative....

he expressed to me that it was mark mcqueen's decision, his project, his news release and proposed fishing derby.

so thanks needs to be directed to him in forms of letters through email

if you would like to email him ....send me your letters through pm and i will forward them to him...
