Ok but really, heres some pics from this last march. Going on a trip back home for a couple of months starting end of april so I figured id make the most of what little time I had left to go and smash some bows.

After that warm spell we had the fishin got tougher as majority of the fish had already pushed up, instead of sucker fishing in closed trout section we opted to hit the source. I knew that there would still be a couple stragglers to come in.

It has always been a ritual for me and a handful of my friends to target suckers when they came in on our UL setups. Its a lot of fun and is usually good action, we must have at least got into 50 each in an afternoon fish.

It makes me wonder why some people will go and fish for suckers where trout is closed when there is literally thousands of them where its open all year round.

Some great shot there. I especially like the one of the rainbow with you holding the tail out of the water. On a couple of those shots, it looks like I need to change my medication!

A couple times per year I like fishing suckers in the rapids. Thats a blast! They get up to about 15lbs here, and when they run into the rapids it's quite the fight!
