where to fish in the islands man

hey guys i live in pickering and i always fish frenchmans bay i catch little panfish all the time.The toronto island look really good and i hear alot of good stuff about that place never fished there before so what should i use,where do i go and what species live there

There's Carp, Pike, Perch, Bass & some Bowfin (Catfish, Gobies)

A medium set up will do you just fine.


- Worms, Corn, Bread

- Spinners, Rapala

- Some plastics should be good.



Basically, Just go to Centre Island (Wards Island one side / Hanlons Point the other) and Start EXPLORING from there.

-The ponds & Canals and outer bays

Some days the fish are shallow, other times in deeper water.


Walking around and discoving the Area is simply the best way to do it.

Ya, there is a pretty good population of fish, but you probably would not want to eat one from the island
